will weapon*r header fit stock exhaust?

I'm just starting to mod -- can I start by just swapping a WR header onto the stock exhaust system? Thanks! (I'm planning on KW 5# SC kit later too, if that affects anything holler at me.)

wont pass smog. if a cop sees it you'll probably get a ref ticket. why hassle with it? IMO

Because, according to the KraftWerks thread, the stock header is very poorly designed, and is recommended as the first thing to fix if looking for more hp. I have only been pulled over by a cop once in 17 years, that's not on my list of things to worry about.

So, will it fit the stock exhaust system?

Are there any CARB-approved headers available yet that fit stock exhaust?

so far, there are no carb approved headers. Just don't do anything dumb 2 get pulled over. Plus, i doubt if a cop makes u pop ur hood he's going 2 look way in the back for modified headers. Most cars have headers towards tthe front that wrap around under the engine and go back so they'd probably miss it.

Man once in 17 years? i've been pulled over 17 times in 1 year! lol. Not in the fit tho, my old civic. =]

Yup, the Weapon R street header is a direct replacement with excellent power from the moment you hit the throttle. You might have to lose the bracket from the header to the transmission though. But, in my opinion the WR is so sturdy you don't need it.
