bump for HONDATA INFO!!! It's not gonna be June for much longer guys! wtf!

 

How hard is it to massage the 5 psi kit into a 5.5 psi kit? ie, what % would the Rotrex pulley need to shrink? I suspect it's a pretty small amount, 1-3% less diameter? How much does an extra pulley cost?

 

Had my car dyno'd today (finally). Its a shame I didnt have HONDATA YET!!! Did you guys die or something?

I HAVE TO SELL MY KWSC PRE-ORDER...my father lost his job and i have to help around and pay some of the home bills and i wont be able to pay off the supercharger i have to go out job hunting and get myself a part time job ontop of my full time so if anyone wants the my PRE-ORDER please PM me as soon as possible!

EDIT: Thank you YeeFit hopefully things do work out..and yes you are correct its for the AUTO TRANS...I pre-ordered it the second day we were allowed to... oh well maybe in a couple years i can get it but not now

I think you should specifiy that your pre-order is for either auto trans or manual trans kit. That may help in getting someone to take over your pre-order. I am assuming its for auto trans since the manual trans kit pre-order was a while back.

WOW,i guess we all really do go through the same problems in life.my dad too lost his job a year ago,so i tool him and my mom into my home.i used the money i had for the kit to move them up to vegas with me and pay their bills.anyways man,you guys aren't alone and it will get better

 

my mom and brother were laid off last month, but my mom found a new stable job already. though i am independent it still concerns me if i need to shovel my own hard-earned moola to my parents. and my brother is going to college in the fall, and needs some bucks for the first year. with the gas and all, it's a rough year. but i'd still like to tough it out and grab the kwsc kit. however the tiny trickle of a/t kit info doesn't make me feel any better. i hope the info floods out soon...

 

Okay so its 6/24, my one month with my girl (woohoo!), and less than a week left in June. And last time I checked... YEP! there it is, "Releasing this June!", yet, we're still waiting...
Anyway, just had to share some info with everybody... watch the quick video of the dyno 1st, then time for numbers.

Now that that's done, here's the numbers. Sorry I dont have a scanner guys, so I'll make everything clear... here's the pics.






First Pic - After two pulls on the Dynapack 4000, the max torque produced was during the first pull, 102.3 at 5619 RPM. The max horsepower was produced during the second pull, 113.6 at 6025 RPM.

Second Pic - After seeing the numbers of the first run, i thought MAYBE i was still leaking a LITTLE boost, even though i double and triple checked before putting it on the dyno. So we hooked up the boost gauge for the second run. Turns out my kit is putting out 5.3 lbs of boost just under redline (6495 RPM), meaning no boost leak (at least I think not). These are true numbers. And of course, all HP and torque ratings are to the wheels.

Besides the KWSC, what mods were done to your car?

 

I was going to ask if you had a stock dyno from the same machine, operator, around the same temperature... otherwise there's not a whole lot to discuss...

 

Oh yes, forgot to mention... the only other performance mod I have as of right now besides the KWSC is the Skunk2 60mm catback. Headers, cat, & everything else is stock for now.

And no, I never got a chance to dyno the car before installing the SC. But that in no way discredits the results of the dyno WITH the SC. We all know what stock numbers look like. Yes, numbers vary from car to car. But there can only be 2 extreems. Meaning either I had a super-fit from the factory, lets say 95 whp, and saw an 18.6 whp gain. OR I had a factory lemon making 80 whp stock, and got 33.6 whp from the SC. I highly doubt my car fell under one of these extreems. This tells us that, after installing the KW base SC kit, I saw at least a 20-30 whp gain. We don't need a "before" dyno to tell us that. Yes it would help, but it's not entirely necessary.

As soon as I get my injector upgrade, I'm going back to dyno it again. Same machine, same operator, and hopefully the same temperature (it was 86 degrees out).
