howd you get water way up there? are you running no grill or something?

did you call or email oscar? Anytime you have a problem email the support line. If you dont email the manufacturer about it they cant do anything about it.

looks like i dodged a bullet...for now

i took my baby out for a ride this morning and the supercard seems to be working again. not sure for how long but so far so good.

at least i have some time now to decide between future engine management solutions.

Oscar, I know I've had those injectors in for a while and I was supposed to pull them out and return them a while back, but I just haven't had the time to get my car over to Mr_ET's house to do the job. When the Hondata upgrade comes out, am I still privy to the refund or have I waited too long?

I'm currently running

T1R Header
T1R Test Pipe
T1R B-Pipe
Spoon N1
T1R Lightweight Pulley

I was wondering what kind of problems I'll be running into?

Thanks!

Any exaust sound clips? that sounds like a sweet exhaust setup.

from what i've read you'll need an injector upgrade so you don't lean out.

and also Hondata right??

Will there be any further problems after Injectors? I read that thread where somebody had their 2nd set of spark plugs flood, could that be another problem?

you dont need hondata. the only hondata kw application is the high boost kit, and if you opt for that, hondata is included. you don't need it for the 5psi applications.

i thought KW posted that the hondata was going to be mapped for 5psi and up. the timing map for the fit is very conservative and designed for economy and 87 octane. adjusting the timing for 91 octane and 5psi of boost would be a big help with overall performance and drivability imo.

Yes, I would definitely suggest the Hondata upgrade if you are going to have a header back exhaust. With the injector package that was released when the kit was released, I'm running a smidge rich, but very little. Car runs fine, but I believe it will lean out if you don't get new injectors. The upgraded injectors is well worth it IMO if you are going to get the SC with either header back exhaust or the high boost kit.

Hey Eric

From what I understand without a tune running an intake & full exhuast you will be fine. Once you add in a test pipe you start running a touch lean... for naturally aspirated setups anyway.

because you need a fuel management with the SC I doubt you would need the injector upgrade for the low boost kit, the stock injectors seem to be good for low boost applications. With that said it might be worth it to ask OJR to hold a set for you after you order and then check your AF with a wideband to find out for sure. Then if you are running lean you can order in the upgraded injectors.

recently had the braket that holds the oil resovoir brake off. I drive hard in the canyons about once a week minimum, so this might not happen to all the normal driving peeps here. Drove down to Kraftwerks and OJR came out and replaced it for me.

again, great customer service

Friend brought me to dyno-night that was happening out of town so I had my base KWSC FiT on it.
It was a Mustang Dyno (Mustang 1100SE Chassis Dyno). Depending which graph you look at I either got 120whp 107torque on the smoothen-out graph or 124whp 111torque on the un-smoothen-out graph lol.

Besides some small rattles i'm still looking for and the cold-engine-start belt squealing/chripping, I am quite happy with the numbers acquired from the kit. Was told it was kinda running a bit rich but i have faith in the release of the Hondata reflash. Make it happen! I've got headers and a testpipe waiting to go in

its just not "smoothed" out by the computer. The unsmoothed graph is what the computer sees directly off the dyno.

anyone have a guess or an opinion on how the kraftwerks s/c would react to a different intake filter (i.e., aem dryflow, k&n, or apexi)???
