Idk I guess everyone isn't as patient as me. i can tell you there is no way I would buy a product without it being tested first. Something like a sc on a brand new car you definately shouldn't jump on it right away because despite the creators testing it there is no real long term results or a variety of results for that matter.

I have no problem waiting for the auto kit to come out and the highboost auto kit to come out. I am actually going to actually wait at least 1 full year after the auto high boost kit comes out just so I can see what kind of results people have with it and also to see if people have any issues without over that first year. That will also give me more time to see what other options there are out there and also it will give me a chance to see if KW will improve on anything that turns up to be wrong with the kit ( not saying there is going to be anything wrong ).

So my suggestion to people would be chill out and just wait. It is actually kinda annoying that I keep getting emails from this thread just because people are whinning about how the deadlines aren't being meet.

I think it is time to let the Fit community know what we have up our sleeve. We have tried to not let this out...

We have been working on new technology specifically for the Fit. This update will dramatically improve the base kit power from the hit of the throttle, and produce a much better area under the curve. Additionally, this new hardware and software update will lead easily to the High-Boost kit.

How does this affect the AT? The same technology learned will be used on the Auto kits as well.

Furthermore, this hardware and software update will be a free upgrade for all current Base Kit owners! Only the cost to ship your Rotrex Supercharger and SuperCard to KraftWerks headquarters will be required of the current Base Kit owners. Your updated pieces will be sent back to you free of charge.

The 08 Fit ECU turned out to have additional firewalls over the 07 USDM version and thus has caused us to postpone the release of the Hondata/Big Boost/Injector Upgrade. This in turn causes FitFreak to be upset with us. "Cracking" Honda's ECU isn't as easy as it seems, and Hondata is working hard on getting this complete and ready with the latest factory Honda updates. If it was easy to crack, everyone would be doing it.

We have not forgotten the Fit and are, in fact, extremely excited about the update. We have spent a lot of R&D time and money preparing for this new update.

We will notify everyone as soon as the final updated parts are complete at the KraftWerks facility. Dyno sheets will be published to our website and FitFreak as soon as they are available.

Thanks,
Oscar Jr.

Now that this is out... I stepped the boost down and have been running this new Base Kit... No Hondata, No High boost... Results. This new base kit feels very close to my setup of upped boost, hondata, 310cc injectors. I was AMAZED with the new technology incorporated and the PERFORMANCE. Best of all... ITS FREE for all you current basekit owners! Cant beat that! I have been wanting to spill the beans about this, but was sworn to secrecy! lol.

now THATS what we all want to hear
alright, as upsetting as the whole situation can be (and im still fuming over my accident a few weeks ago), I guess I owe KW and Chris an apology. I KNOW FOR A FACT you guys have an amazing company, and i DO understand how difficult it must be developing a brand new kit for a brand new car. Just dont keep your loyal customers in the dark, thats all! It's not worth losing customers over
But you haven't lost me.... yet! im just playin....
I'm probably more siked now than ever. Just PLEASE PLEASE come thru for us! It's so hard to wait this long! and KEEP US POSTED! sorry again guys, u know i love ya! haha

edit: u should send us all a Kaftwerks banner like Chris has for our trouble. free advertising, and I LOVE bragging about u guys so yea... get on that lol

With the apparent a/t kit devel delay, I suspected that the a/t kit was going to be "better", and that the m/t kit people were going to have to swap some hardware. Is m/t moving to C15-16 also? #5 pop-off?

Anyways, I'll keep an eye out here, as I sold my pre-order. After my my brother's college financial aid stabilizes, perhaps I can take another swing at this next summer. I envy the ones that go on to get the Hondata upgrade, that's going to be great I bet.

Why so opaque? People with money down or base kits should be getting weekly updates/emails about such things methinks...

I guess I can talk now too... Let me tell you, this upgrade has more of a kick. I'm testing there setup in a "stock" senerio (ie everything stock except for the supercharger) and this upgrade feels so good, I'm questioning if I really want the high boost. For those disappointed when they first got the kit, after this upgrade you won't be, it feels more "boosty" . I normally drive around 80mph, and when I first got the upgrade, there were many times I didn't realize I gone up to 90mph. So now I feel the power more instant when I want to pass a person, where as before I would have to wait a bit before the power started to kick in (normal base kit), and before that I would have to downshift and wait for the power to kick in (totally stock). And I'm not even driving the finalized upgrade (I got one of Chris' "prototype hand-me-downs"). I would talk numbers, but I'm not sure if I can right now. Just wait and see the dyno graph comparison.

I KNEW IT.

i'm so stinking excited! granted i'm GLAD my financial situation has allowed for me to wait it out. wytt: thanks for posting, you put things in such a way that i 'get' what you mean instantly.

mr.et couldn't have said it better: turbos being made for the fit are a more classic and time tested approach...rotrex superchargers are much newer in terms of what they are being used for and i knew it was only a matter of time before we got some good numbers.

i'm so happy! i dunno if the highboost will really be available for the a/t, but i looks like my need to trade in for a gti in a few years is gone!

KW A/T Kit

I guess I’ll put my two cents in since the cat is out of the bag!
Wytt is right on the money about the “New Setup” Power is instantaneous when you hit the throttle, all the way thru the power band. The pick up is right now!
All I can say is you would have to drive it to feel the difference. It really makes a difference.
If there is any A/T owners in the So Cal Area (Burbank) let me know and we will go for a ride and you can post your own experience.
I Like it!

so, in your opinion, is the new a/t setup making more horsepower/torque to the wheels than before...or do you think its just providing better response?

Do we know when to expect these changes? Is it going to be released simultaneous with Hondata, or sooner? Can we at least get a dyno soon? I can't wait to see how much difference it actually makes....
