Wytt is right on the money about the “New Setup” Power is instantaneous when you hit the throttle, all the way thru the power band. The pick up is right now!
All I can say is you would have to drive it to feel the difference. It really makes a difference.
If there is any A/T owners in the So Cal Area (Burbank) let me know and we will go for a ride and you can post your own experience.
I Like it!
if that offer is still there in a few weeks, i may be interested... i can do te weekend of the 20th... and im in the san gabriel valley area...

I will say this... before this upgrade, I was thinking about getting one. After the upgrade, I'll just save the $300 or so. The upgrade focuses on the low and mid range, so the throttle feels much better than the original kit or stock.

But it should still work since the kit has nothing to do with the throttle control.

I'm new here but how come the KWSC doesn't have a intercooler?

It may be an optional upgrade later on. The KWSC does not get very hot as it doesn't use exhaust gases to build pressure, or atleast that is what is claimed.

Only problem is, once you get an intercooler in, you will lose the factory fog lights if you have them, and the cost of the kit with intercooler upgrade will be pretty high.. I would estimate around 4500-5k.

Check out the T1R turbo, HKS, and Greddy (soon to be released) as other options as well before deciding on which path to take.

The Rotrex SC, unlike its other SC or Turbo counterparts doesnt run Hot. Typically you need a intercooler on those FI setups because of the extreme heat. The IC option is still being explored on the kit, but isnt a necessity with this kit. No heat problems FTW!

Hello and welcome to FitFreak!

The main reason:

The Rotrex runs very cool, and does not require the use of an intercooler. Our temperature rise is very low because we are not connected to a heat source or engine oil source to heat up the supercharger. Therefore, minimal temperature rise.

I know it's slightly off topic but how come your S2000 kits come with IC's then?

An intercooler would be a great upgrade too bad it'll need a reflash or more tuning. It'd be nice if came on the 10 psi kit. Cooler air would = more hp....normally.

Do we know when the base kits will start shipping with the "improved" design? I am about ready to bite the bullet and buy the SC, just don't wanna have to mail back the SC within the first month of buying it.
