Torque Damper YES or NO?
Torque Damper YES or NO?
So I'm looking into buying strut bars. I really like the J's Racing ones and also the Cusco ones because of their design and overall look. I'm interested in the Cusco package deal from Bulletproof Automotive for $310 front and back. But I love J's Racing stuff as do many fitfreaks do. Also on Bulletproof, theres a package of the front strut along with the torque damper for $363. My question is does the torque damper really make a difference in power, acceleration, etc? Anyone running the torque damper and do you feel a difference?

im not to familiar with the pros and cons of an engine torwue damper. ive never had one and i havent read much on them. but i do know for a fact that the only ETD's that will fit USDM fits are the ingalls stiffy, the one from dme and the spoon torque damper which is made specificly for the USDM fit.
the fit deffinitely needs something to stiffen the engine. i have blown three intercooler hoses off due to engine flex at full boost but i cant run my torque damper with my turbo so i am doing motor mounts instead. but it just goes to show you how much our engines flex.
