Re-installing stock airbox

Hi guys. So I will be putting my stock airbox back in because I'm selling my CAI. But that rubber hose thing on the side of the airbox that attaches near the headlight(I dont know what its called), but would it be a problem if i didnt re attach that rubber hose thingy? The horn for my python alarm system happens to be mounted in that area so its blocking the rubber hose thing from re attaching. If its not a problem if i dont re attach it, than great. Any info would be much appreciated.
