Spark plug solutions

i have been searching for a colder spark plug for the fit. i just now installed a set of NGK iridium IX with a heat number of 8 which is two steps colder than stock. they are plugs that are meant to go in an sr20det motor.

so if anyone has problems finding colder plugs for the fit just use the sr20det motor for your base line since there is a wider aftermarket support for this motor. hope this helps people with there search of spark plugs.

Hey man,

I used to have the NGK Iridium IX plugs with my T1R kit. I recently switched to the much cheaper NGK V-Power Racing copper plugs (heat range 8) and the car runs a lot smoother.

Just an FYI, I know u have to change the plugs more often, but the cheaper copper plugs are a ton smoother in power delivery. Ben at AJ-R recommended them to me and I don't regret trying them.

as long as they bolt into an sr20det head then they will work for the fit.

why zex plugs?

ah... i would just stick with the ngk or denso cause most those companies buy ngk or denso and slap their company name on it.

kinda like spoon plugs are really just rebadged ngk ik24.
