^ Tranny cooler even if not boosted. Mine on the Buick keeps things nice and chilled. Even during the dog days of summer.

Plus Z-1 isn't the world's greatest ATF by a long shot.

I put a Transmission cooler on a GMC van and it even lowered the engine coolant temperature.... It is a must if you drive in heavy stop and go traffic, carry passengers or heavy loads, or just want your transmission to last longer.

Our AT Fits already have a cooler running thru the radiator. My 08' does anyhow. Though I won't complain adding an additional air to air cooler to any AT car.

Where would one go about finding a trans cooler for an AT GE? How much would it run / how hard would the install be?

Easy to install. I have put them in two of my other AT cars. Mount cooler in front of the radiator. Identify stock radiator in line and leave it alone. Run new line from stock radiator return line to new cooler in. New cooler return line back to stock return that would have normally come from the radiator return. This is called in series, or in line. You will probably need to buy a length of new cooler line to go from the new cooler out/return back to the tranny in/return.

This makes it also easy to change your tranny fluid. Disconnect one of the lines and run it into a one gallon clear plastic jug. Of course make sure you have the flow in the right direction.

Start the engine and run one gallon of fluid into it. Shut off engine. Refill one gallon into tranny, empty jug. Repeat until you have replaced as many gallons as your tranny capacity is.

A/T dyno results 4.9.10

Just had my A/T dyno @4psi by Pineapple from FX Motorsports Development.
He tunes the FX NSX...and allot of other sick shit! He said the tranny was slipping on the last pull near top end.....need to just swap out for Manual.
Got to ~114 hp & ~114 ft. on stock exhaust and compression.

So this would be the reason the tranny was "slipping" at full throttle? Thinking of going with a KWSC but I don't want my tranny to grenade on me. I want longevity. Where can I find out the max torque these things will handle? Something tells me Honda didn't over design these tranny's a whole lot.
