just go with the full megan exhaust. it produces rather good numbers and is pretty quiet until you push on the go pedal.

or i would recommend a full spoon n1 exhaust for power and good tone but it is one of the more loud exhausts.

i've heard that the PRM catback is fairly quiet. JDMchris seems to be happy with his

if you're interested, i used to run a megan b-pipe with my apexi ws2. i'm currently selling the exhaust because i have another one in mind:

it's really not loud at all, i hear my intake over the exhaust even when reving inside a parking garage. it used to be kevin's, he can tell you how quiet this set-up is LoL

I have the full Spoon cat-back. I realy dont find it that loud, it has a realy nice sound to it. I have had it for a year and have never been harassed by the police. If you keep the car under about 3K the Spoon N1 is actually not to loud, the high in the RPMs you get though the more noise it makes.

I have the DC Sports header and Tanabe Touring Medallion a/b and its as quiet as OEM at idle and cruising at steady speed. It only speaks up at WOT and even that is fairly hushed. Many people on here find it too understated, but I like it.

^ I used to have a Tanabe Touring Medallion, very quiet muffler. I think that the Header, stock bpipe and Axel back is the best combo. I think with an upgraded bpipe, a lot of backpressure is lost and therefor the torque loss.

custom...

find a hks super drager(clips in the exhaust sticky )

and do a 2 1/4 crush bent pipeing....

SUPER quiet....still keeps the torque....

anything n1 style and has bigger diameter than stock, you loose the lower end, i think T1R 50S V2 Sport Muffler or Spoon Street Muffler will be a good choice.

SdMrFits reply about eh 2 1/4 inch custom piping is a good idea. With 2 1/2 you will lose some back pressure. Finding a mid pipe diameter in between stock and aftermarket to increase flow w/o losing back pressure is a good way to do it. With an NA engine, power and torque gains will be minimal, so there will not be a noticeable difference unless you go with FI

He's right^^ Although I can say that the header and a/b combo have made a difference in mid-range punch you can feel (especially in traffic, where third gear roll-ons happen a lot) any dyno would probably burst my butt-dyno bubble
