So the K20a3 or K20z3? You think the a3 despite the ~20hp sacrifice? Is this just because it's easier to do or just for price? I don't plan on TC/SCing it until way down the road, but if what you're saying is true about the price, I might try boosting it sooner. How comparable in reliability pre- and post-boost are the two?

the k20a3 most will say is worthless but skunk2 has a lot of stuff for it and it makes pretty decent power.

look on clubrsx.com seriously people throw them away. there is another site i have on my computer that you can buy motors and tranny's off used cars for pretty cheap too. some guy posted it on honda tech and i saved it on my other computer.

Yeah, that's kinda why I wanted the K20z because most of what I read said it was worthless (and that I wanted to start w/~200hp, no lower). I'll keep an eye on ClubRSX. Thanks!

But the K20a is definitely out of the picture for me...running $4500 on the swap motor alone is out of my budget. Although the extra 20hp DOES kinda sound nice! hahaha!

its really not that bad. you could put it over 200 hp and still have money left over compared to a K20a or k20z. just saying if your on a budget build its a cheap motor to pick up and easy to build because of its aftermarket support.

just because it says it has 200hp doesnt mean its actually putting that to the wheels.

the k20a3 is worthless that's most people talk about, and it is true. Most of the people put SC/Turbo on top of it, buz the a3 has lower compression, that make the a3 day and night different.

It is depend what is the Fit for?? It is DD or Track. I think a3 for DD use it is more than enough. It is fun to drive.

I researched this swap when I was thinking about keeping my GE8. The wiring is complicated to say the least.
