SRI's are loud, but how loud?

I've read from previous posts that the Fujita and Injen SRI's are loud, but how loud and at what RPMs? I'm just looking for a little more clarification before I pull the trigger.

For example...
0K - 2K: Not louder than stock?
2K - 3K: Not louder than stock?
3K - 4K: A little louder than stock?
5K - 6.5K: A lot louder than stock and screams?

And how about at constant normal freeway speeds (65 - 80 mph)?

Btw, I have an AT.

Thanks!

Rpms aren't really the factor in how much louder they are - it's throttle position. At wide open throttle, an intake can easily be 2 or 3 times louder than the stock resonator. But at part/low throttle cruising conditions, you'd be hard pressed to hear a difference.

Got it. I was using RPMs as a tangible reference. Thanks!

oh yeah. just think of how the throttle body looks and works. the more OPEN it gets, the louder. i doubt youd hear it much just cruisin on the freeway, because at that speed, there is a good deal of wind noise

I pulled this quote from a Nissan forum that compared Fujita and Injen intakes...

"Just FYI, in case no one has stated it already, The 2 brothers that founded Injen were tired of the direction the company was heading and the association that Injen was getting from the Ricer community, So they sold the Company and founded Fujita. So you have all the years of experience in technology with a lot of extra "no hassle" Greatness with Fujita. The dealer who i bought my F5 intake from informed me of this."

Anyone have additional information on the history of Fujita? I Googled and couldn't find much.
