I'm gonna go with less rotational mass, I've never seen a tranny component GIVE any power but rather help deliver the power to the wheels more efficiently

There was a thread dedicated to this, but it died out after a while. I think the S2000 & 09' Fit TB's might work if anybody can get their hands on one cheap.

EDIT: Found it: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...ttle-body.html

lol, come on bag of money!
the spoon one is simply a stock TB rebored. spoon is technically oem.

Haha well after reading that whole thread it seems that the Spoon or J's aftermarket TB is only for cable throttle not DBW

Has anybody else "tuned" their N.A. Fit?

With all my aftermarket parts in and functioning correctly I actually ended up reducing the amount of fuel from the stock setup in order to pull up the AFR's. The entire system is much less restrictive now, basically as free flowing as you can get with an N.A. car.

So.... technically I guess my car is using less fuel to make more power? der.... seems really weird. Any theories?

My O2 sensor has a CEL delete on it, so it is pulled out of the pipe & takes reading from the end of a 5" long tube with a 90 degree bend in it. Is that maybe causing the ECU to add more fuel?

I would imagine the combo of a Fidanza flywheel and a Blitz TC would be good for getting into the power faster. As long as you could shift before slamming into the rev limiter that is LOL. I would hesistate to go with a lighter flywheel with my modest bolt-ons though, as the faster rev up has a consequential faster rev down. Meaning you fall out of the power faster also.

Count me in on the NA 100 whp mission. Full disclosure: my goals are twofold; 100whp and better fuel economy.

T1R b-pipe
SHG_Mike intake

Suspension:
Not a damned thing yet, but someday:

not to shit, but isn't it naturally aspirated? XD

lighter fly wheel = less rotational mass = faster pickup = more acceleration.

Well Here is my latest pile of power mods;
*ducks as Sam throws things at him for running so much WR gear*

1. WR SRI Intake
2. WR Intake Manifold
3. Greddy E-Manage Ultimate
4. WR Race Header & O2 Fix
5. Unorthodox Racing Pulley Kit
6. T1R B-Pipe
7. T1R 50S Exhaust
8. Royal Purple Synthetic

(other related power making things)
9. Lightweight Rota 15" Circuit 10's
10. Innovate LM2 Tuning Kit

Also hoping to break the 100hp mark this time around I am starting to run pretty low on ideas to make more power as well. I will probably be looking at a larger (or bored out) throttle body soon.
Import tuner made 100.9 Whp with just a Fujita CAI, an Unorthodox Pulley and a Skunk 2 Racing 60mm Cat Back... I think you are allready into the 1xxWhp Range or there is a problem with your setup for sure...

Well, I have been looking for any source of more info on SHGMikes surgically altered stock intake manifold surge tank and found little to no info. I have even PM'ed him, but I guess he is busy with other stuff. Soooo I went to BernardiParts.com and found out that the surge tank (the black plastic part) is only 87 bucks! I will be getting one in the next two to three weeks and I promise you all I will do a full pics and words DIY on how to open up, alter, and re-close the OE surge tank for more power/better flow. I have a SGII to measure crank HP, not that this is as trustworthy as a dyno, but its better than "feels faster to me meng!" I'm really looking forward to giving this one a shot.
