how do I convert this intake into short ram?

Well im not going to cut it but it says it can also be short ram

did you try removing the rubber stuff? i saw that too where it says it can be short ram

It should just pop arpart, it is a 2 peice CAI. Once you have the coupler between the two pipes off you should be able to slide on the filter.

Why do you want to go to short ram? Too much water right now?

I just wanted to know, I thought it would be a perfect fit but it isnt because the filter is bigger than the pipe

If it's the one I used to have, just use the first part + the pod to make it a short ram. To make it a CAI, add the rubber bit + another metal part with an arm type thing then the pod. If you look at it and think about it in steps that'll make sense.

if that is the one you got, the silicone part (that goes inbetween the two pipes) has a Injen logo on one end. That logo should be on the bottom end according to the installation manual picture.

Just installed it today to see how good it is compared to my PRM..
Installing took FOREVER!!
