Toda racing engine

now from my noob understanding does that mean this motor is not available to the public ?

Good question. It's a specialty item no doubt, so the only way to find out is to ask I suppose. Being that it's not built for the Fit specifically, it may not even be a good match for it. Plus, at ~118hp, you could probably buy a stock GE Fit L15 for much cheaper for almost exactly the same power output, though w/o the durability/response of the tuned engine.

Because you won't have the long-term durability that it would provide. Or probably the response either as well.

still want to hear what this motor sounds like

The point with these Toda engines is that they're not built to make power so much as they're built up to withstand the rigors and abuse of racing, plus they probably tune them to be more suitable for the chassis they're going to be dropped into.
As for the sound, go up a few posts and click the link for the video I posted. You'll hear them just fine.

No price yet? I guees super FJ racing is the only class of racing where the pace car is prolly faster and more powerful? I think the motor would be nice to use a crooked drag/Gymkhana powerplant that would also be good as a reliable street motor to.

don't worry, charlie. it sounds exactly like this, "BWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH - BWWWAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH -BWAHHHP - BWAHHP - BBBWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.. THRUUMMM-THRUUUMMM... BBWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Charlie, you are not helping.
