installing axle back question!

Just go the H-Fit Type M Axle Back

Ready to install, I have already installed the A spec but that was when the car was brand new, i now have 34K miles.

the bolts have some surface rust now.

question is H-Fit did not send any hardware, they stated in the email I should use my stock hardware.

since the bolts have some surface rust, would honda just carry the bolts? and should I pick them up and should I pick up a new gasket and bushing?

thanks in advance guys

Don't think surface rust will make much of a difference - if you really want new ones, part #18231-SR3-A22 for just the bolts (no springs).

You might want a new gasket but I haven't had any problems reusing my stock one 3 times now.

Nice choice with the muffler, I know I love mine.

I think you should be fine, but just to be on the safe side install the new axleback and test for a leak around the seal. Post up a review of the H-Fit exhaust when you get the chance, with some pics at various angles. I am serious considering this exhaust, but H-Fit hasn't really done much for informing us on performance. Still waiting on that dyno they promised. I really like the stock/sleeper look of it though. I don't really like our stock dolphin tip exhaust, but I guess it's better than a pea shooter.
