best way to check exhaust leak

header leak?

and

axleback Leak?

what are the best ways

dont think i have one, car is running normal, just for future reference

The only way I have ever done it is Jack the car up look and listen

Best way i know of if is to either put your car on a lift if you have one, or just jack it up and use your hand to feel around to see if you feel any air "spraying" out (for lack of a better word at the moment) If you put an axle back on make sure to check the gasket connection with stock piping. That's a pretty common place for an exhaust leak.

i heard that an exhaust leak near the axle back isnt that big of a deal.

True, it's not going to make much difference as far as performance wise... but it will probably sound like ass

exhaust leaks FTL ...but mainly is by hearing. Exhaust leaks are pretty noisy... and you'll know if you have one when you hear it lol

If you hold a rag or something like that over the muffler tip it might force it out louder in other spots. Just be careful.
