best way to check exhaust leak
Best way i know of if is to either put your car on a lift if you have one, or just jack it up and use your hand to feel around to see if you feel any air "spraying" out (for lack of a better word at the moment) If you put an axle back on make sure to check the gasket connection with stock piping. That's a pretty common place for an exhaust leak.

True, it's not going to make much difference as far as performance wise... but it will probably sound like ass
