Whats some feed back from using the aem f/i c for tuning a turbo car. I looking to run 10 psi and do not want a check engine light.

 

i just installed a turbo kit this weekend with the aem f/ic.

besides my own fault of wiring it up wrong and throwing a timing CEl...ther eis no problem.

i fixed my wiring.
no cell and peaking at 7psi.
i am using the OEM cat though. not that it makes a big difference, but if you use a test pipe, you have a good chance of throwing a o2 sensor CEL, even if using a defouler.

 

which f/ic do you have?i'm looking to purchase one soon and saw a 1910 and a 1930.thanks

 

you want fic 6 (1910)

also, even though my car was running with teh fic, i was ahving some problems.

id highly recommend to flash the fic with teh firmware versions z110 and x3.81
as well as use the latest beta software 3.06 on your computer.

instructions of how to flash the FIC with the new firmware are in the instructions when you download the beta software from the AEM forum.
