are you refering to a kpro code, or the stamp code on the manifolds?
iam useing the stock rbb from tsx with a j35 throttle body, its 68mm intake side and 64.5mm manifold side, biggest oem dbw tb. got it for 100 shipped brand new and bolts rite up to the rbb and rrc manifolds.

nice!!! i had a 92 hatch with a k20a swap, pulls hard on top end, youll love it, i hurt many mustang and camaros with that car, even worse when i pop hood and it was stock all motor lol, and fit dont weigh very much:)

JCrimson 03-19-2011 10:51 AM

Is there a limitation of with intake manifold we can use? I have to buy one cause my motor didn't come with one as it was super charged. I was thinking the rrc. Just to complete the itr motor. Yes it will be dbc. Will the rrc fit?

MNfit 03-19-2011 12:06 PM

I know you cant use the RBC intake manifold. Im going with the type-S intake manifold.

breadman 03-19-2011 12:29 PM

the rrc is almost same size and length as rbc, just has better runners. so thats a no go. ive put the type s manifold on and it is shorter than the rrc and rbc. iam useing the rbb from the tsx, makes a better torque curve, and here a good pic to give you idea of how much room and all that

I dont think any of the aftermarket I.M. will work with the fit either, I could be wrong though. Like I said im going to be using the Type-S and then im going to have it bored out to 70mm for a 70mm throttle body. The few people I talked to that should be good for my goals of 250whp NA.

JCrimson 03-19-2011 05:46 PM

What's the rrc intake bore? I want to replicate that so I keep the power it originally helped make if not more.

thats interesting, never knew that would fit, are you going to run cable or DBW for the throttle body ?

not going to fit, i did test it before i went with the rsx-s manifold no luck =[

the way the tsx manifold curves down, its ruffly the same length as the type s manifold, iam using dbw throttle body cuz i wanted to keep my factory gauges and its from a j35 which is cheaper and bolts rite up to tsx manifold and at 68mm its biggest oem dbw throttle body availble, only thing i want to improve on is i used the factory tsx header and welded flange from exhaust to the collector, hoping this summer to send a copy of it to asp so they can make a better design with bigger runners and all that plus custom allways looks nice

Skunk2 intake manifold for the K motor is a revised version of a RBC
so it's too long to fit in the fit engine bay

I'm digging the valve cover. I just picked a k24a2. Decided to go all motor. I really wanted boost, but the fact that the manifold available would be completely robbing me of power I said screw it. That, and the fact that getting beat by an all motor fit would be that much more embarrassing. :D Hoping to have it done by the end of the summer. Itbs/cams/headwork. Shooting for 280-290whp. Should be 11s.

mike410b 03-22-2011 10:43 PM

Hell, I may shoot for more once it is actually on the dyno. My buddy Chris treblic will be helping me with the tune. He's one of the best k tuners in the world.

MNfit 03-23-2011 12:20 AM

nice im shooting for 250whp NA with a K24a2. My thinking was kind of the same with NA, it would be fun as hell to beat cars with a NA Fit.

fitevo 03-23-2011 02:59 AM

do you guys know any reputable shops for kswaps in cali?

-Frank

breadman 03-23-2011 07:37 AM

did a first start on mine sunday but there was a bad exhaust leak from the header so towed it back to a friends shop to get it fixed, hoping to be out in a few days and take it for a test drive before end of the week.

to the guys trying to hit 300 hp na, i was doing 210hp in my k20a type r swaped 92 hatch and was door to door with ls1 camaros, etc. ill post vids. but when doing streetable power i would say anything over 270hp wont be fun to drive daily in a k series platform na. itbs will making u hate idleing, and takes alot of tuning to get rite. iam a suporter on k20a.org and there is alot of good build threads and info there too.

you can actually see that i got frustrated at that point and cut it sloppy lol, hope you guys can do a better job then i did

looks good, i did mine very similiar to yours, but i couldnt get the console on without cutting it so iam just leaving it off till i figure out a better way, only have a pic of it out the car, made a tube frame for it, will take pics of it in car and post too
