T1R Header

Hi Everybody,

I've been looking into getting a header for my fit, after some long research I've come to either the DC Sports or T1R. I'm leaning towards the T1R, however I read in one of these forums that the T1R header gets "hot under the hood" and to stop this you have to get it "ceramic coated". Does anybody know about this problem or whether this is a problem at all?

Oh, I've got one more question, is the T1R response header CARB legal?

Thanks for the reply AJ PwR, do you know what is keeping it from being CARB legal? Correct me if I'm wrong, but some headers come with a cat-delete pipe like the Weapons R Racing header (once again I'm a newb correct me if I'm wrong). So what does the T1R response header have that doesn't make it CARB legal?

The T1R is not CARB legal since I believe only the state of CA requires parts to be CARB legal. Unfortunately, since we are not located there, we cannot get a CARB legal certificate either.
