Question Throttle body coolant hose for temp

i want to install a water temp gauge but do not want to cut into my newly installed silicone radiator hose for the probe.

i plan to do the throttle body bypass mod and have a t-fitting for the probe. does this coolant line have a shut off valve? if so where is it and can i get rid of it?

or any other suggestion on where i can tap the probe?

Do the same thing i did! Install a Scangauge 2 in your car, it will give you data on ECT, IAT, Spark Advance, etc.... Minus the PITA to install all those gauges, route wires, be creative on sensors placement, etc!

160$ on Ebay!!

The best would be to try it and watch with a scangauge or obd2 scantool if it matches the temps of the ECT sensor and, if not, place it elsewhere!
