Thanks... You're a lot smarter than the big ole bubbas around here... They know quite a bit about tractors and farming implements but the goats and sheep weird out when any of them show up wearing boots over their pants legs.

310cc injectors should good. But in case you're interested, I'm selling some 450CCs BNIB for a good price.

*Edit* I just realized you're the same guy that PMed me about the F/IC harness. lol.

I don't imagine Jamaican fuel is going to be the best or most consistent, combine that with 40*C and humid and you're going to be pushing a healthy black haze under boost to run enough timing to make torque and keep EGTs in check lol
Best JA fuel is 90 octane with 10 percent ethanol I believe.. I can get race gas but this is my dd.

I bought this kit and did not receive map turbo manifold, intercooler, oil cooler or steel braided oil feed line. Wen contacted etd claimed it was all there but I know it was drop shipped from cxracing because of the FedEx info. Some to mariko at cxracing and she said they no longer include a manifold with the kit and I should use my original exhaust with an included adapter. They have since then resent the intercooler and oil cooler

I live in jamaica and had the parts forwarded so returning is not an option as I paid too much in shipping and duties but I'm not satisfied With the way this was handled.

It was explicitly stated in the description of the kit fom etd that I turbo manifold would be included and I paid for what was in the description

What can I do? Bait and switch in play here so who do I go to?

You can make a claim on ebay to make the sellers give you everything that was missing. The listing should have everything that should've been included, take pics of what was received and say what is missing. If not, they could possibly get you a refund for bad business.

Why is it that no matter how often people are told don't buy turbos or turbo kits from eBay, and then they are surprised when this occurs..

There is a reason most turbo kits cost a minimum of US$3.5-4K plus shipping, install and tuning.

It's not just customer service either.

Just wait till that china turbo starts to eat its self and your oil looks like goldschlager and you learn the hardway that saving money on the turbo or the kit is far more expensive when you have to buy an entirely new engine and have it installed.

Was this the US$1200 kit?

Because an actual Garrett GT25, BB or JB CHRA, goes for more than that by its self.

bana1988, Thank you for being the guinea pig here but I am sorry to hear about your experience.... CXRacing is attempting to improve there image, but yea.... they are NOT known for quality in the community. I even had a post up in the FI section when I found there " '08 turbo intercooler Honda Fit bolt on Turbo Kit." https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...turbo-kit.html

I sure hope you did not end up with the product discussed there.... as that is for a Japanese market GE chassis Fit...

You were almost assuredly sent a knockoff in a convincing box. A legit full turbo kit for $2K with new parts is not going to happen. Even if they raised the price after the fact. An HKS BOV and Garrett GT25 together will go for about $2k.

Unless it was stolen, there is no way a vendor could sell those parts (if genuine), new in box for that price. Not even as a matter of mark-up. That would be cheaper than cost.

Period.

Look up retail on the part #s.
