Fujita CAI Installed

I purchased the Fujita CAI from a fellow FitFreak and installed it today. I have a couple questions that I'm hoping someone can answer for me.

1. Why do I have to replace the coolant/crankcase hard line with the two other hoses? I've already installed the intake and it fits just fine with the stock equipment.

As you can see in the picture (aside from my finger) using the red hose, I joined the stock crankcase line to the intake. Is that going to be an issue?

2. My purchase didn't come with all the pieces, so I need to make the vibration mount on my own. Does anyone know the bolt size needed to install the mount into the factory bracket? I think the factory bolts that hold the stock airbox are 10mm but I'm not 100%.

Thanks in advance for the help.

And a quick review of the intake. It's not as loud as my Top Fuel Chamber intake, but it makes some noise. As for acceleration, my car might feel a little quicker but I need to drive it more to be sure. It's probably just in my head... has anyone else every noticed your car feels faster after you wash it? Or is that just me? Overall I like the way it looks and really that's all I wanted.

Lol. My fit gains 10hp everytime I wash her too. She likes being clean.

That red hose is a crankcase vent tube. Any unused air is returned to the intake to be reused. Mine is a breather with no tube to intake. Therefore venting into the atmosphere, certain states frown on that however. So your tube is correct. Looks like it could be cut shorter though to eliminate that loop.

Yeah, I already replaced it. That hose was from the SRI I had previously. Thanks for the info.
