check engine light tap, pin e31

so ive check the stickys and not found what iam looking for, iam trying to tap into the wire in the mil harness that allows the check engine light signal to be sent to dash cluster, on the fit it should be the e plug pin 31 but there is no wire there, any ideas? its for a k swap kpro ecu, iam assuming since before when everything was stock the check engine light would work, so just need to know what to tap into

Basicly a digital signal, he's where it may get confusing...

ecu pins e24 low signal and e11 high signal communicate between gauge control c12 low signal and c13 high signal for the fit.
