E3.48 spark plugs

Hey I was just wondering if anyone has used the e3.48 besides sid. Just installed a set . Right after my friend told me they are bad spark plugs. Anyone care to disagree ?

i'm not a fan... a fair bit of money for only a fair plug...

ngk/denso iridium's (or even ngk v-coppers) will be far better...

I put them in at 100k miles, I'm now at 125k and having stuttering issues. I took all 4 coils and plugs out last night to inspect and the e3.48 plugs looked far worse than the OEM factory plugs that I pulled out at 100k miles. Not to mention their design makes them nearly impossible to clean up. I already ordered the NGK plugs and a new set of coils. Considering how cheap the e3.48s are, I'm not even going to bother trying to get a refund.

Have you ever had an engine misfire while driving? Its very noticeable. Besides, I still have to test my theory by replacing the plugs first. For all I know it could be something else entirely.

I'm simply expressing my disappointment in the E3s in hopes that someone else wont make the mistake of getting them.

Thanks for the heads up on the E3's. On a good running engine telling the difference between one plug and another is next to impossible.

I know I'm starting up a dead thread here, but for anyone that reads this I had the e3s in my last car (Camaro) and I would avoid them at all costs. I drove maybe 2k miles with them and then had a bad misfire develop. Pulled the plugs to find out the insulators had cracked on one and bent on the other. Put the factory AC Delcos back in, no problems. Stick with NGKs/Densos for sure on an Import.
