Never heard of SIMOTA but I can vouch for PRM! I have their intake in my fit and I absolutely love it! It is nothing but music to my ears when I drive.

simota is not available in the US for GE8 afaik. i've seen one in the philippines while i was there. it was really cheap like $50. looks more like a DIY intake.

Most if not all of those are for the GD jazz not for the GE, there's a difference between the two - MAF sensor location

yeh but that's the thing. i've seen Weapon R, Simota's available for sale in the Phil, but when I go look at their respective home websites, they don't have intakes made for the GE8. I've even emailed weapon r, and they said they stopped development and don't intend to in the future. simota replied back with their product line is not available in the US. so i'm not sure if there really is a model for the ge8.

so it makes u wonder, if these are GENUINE parts, or they are Genuine universal parts, or they are just rebranded fakes.

I don't know why they stopped making them, the car is still pretty new and in future there will be more people want parts like intakes for their cars. Is it just me or jazz intakes cost so much it's not really worth it? 200+ for an intake, worst comes to worst ill just buy a stock airbox and DIY intake!!
