I should have left neutral feedback now that I know how he is. He did reimburse me for the CEL Eliminator so I was feeling nice at the time. But I did remark that the 07 FIT OBX Headers required mods so others would know if they read it.

That's why I don't buy OBX, too much stuff to modify and nothing ever really fits like it's supposed to. I learned my lesson back in 02 with my Intake manifold for my SOHC VTEC motor.

Don't buy OBC

Live and learn. You said don't buy OBC, I think you meant OBX. Just had to add that.

Each to their own. I'm not changing the headers again.

I never even installed the OBX headers, they are still sitting in the box. Got the Megan headers today, gonna get them put on tomorrow.

Cool. I'm sure they'll give you a little more HP just like the OBX did for mine. You'll be surprised when you get the stock headers out and see how they are made in comparison to the aftermarket ones.

Yea, they did make a slight difference, definate increase in pull/sound after 3000 rpm and some extra kick in the bottom end. The header build is no comparison with the factory headers, pressed versus machined, guy that helped with the install made the comment of how cute the factory headers were, the runners to the collector are so small.
Selling the wheels in the sig so that they things I've done actually help instead of equaling out to about how it performed from the factory. Come on UPS! Hopefully with the +42 offset of the Tracklights I won't have a scrubbing issue like I do now.

Cool, yeah the factory headers were not what I expected to see when I pulled them off either.

Back to life!

I'm going to bring this one back from the dead...

I'm looking at 2 options:
The OBX header/cat delete on ebay... about 200 shipped.
This would be the route I'd go if I could confirm somehow that OBX has since made a better setup 2 years from when 2hot got his... The website is up but the Fit is not on their Models list.

And also any ideas how'd this sound with a cat-back and intake???

OR

A-spec's cat delete, 95 shipped
and then finding a header at a later date (and there's the possibility in the not so distant future for turbo or S/C)

I currently have the Skunk2 50mm setup, and a homemade intake.

If I were to go turbo, then getting headers would ultimately be a waste, but if I go S/C then I could keep whatever aftermarket headers I may have at that point.

Any thoughts suggestions ideas etc.?

And before anyone says "Get T1R or Mugen or Spoon, etc." I'm working off a budget and trying to plan ahead in some ways. The Fit's staying with me for a LOOOONGG Time so I'm in no hurry to do FI, but it will be there someday so I'm trying to prepare for it.
