Yes it's from Autozone. The pipes are plastic with copper coating. They did that, I guess, for the chrome to stick.

Dont' buy the kit. If anyone wants a cheap intake, get the 90 degree and 45 degree bends. Get 3 clamps, filter, and a rubber tube to attach the intake to the throttle body. U'll need to drill the hole for the MAP sensor. I used a rubber ring that wedges between the hole for the sensor.

It may not be a Fujitso, AEM, Etc, but it works just fine..

Yeah I know there's not a clamp on the filter. I just press fit it on there for now. As tight as the engine bay is, that filter isn't comin out. So I might not even buy a clamp for it.

Have fun!

BTW: The engine is really quiet compared to the D series engines, but it has a nice low tone roar..

After the photos, I went to take the wife out for lunch. The CEL was on. I came home and unplugged the battery. Came back 30 minutes later cuz I forgot about it. I turned on the car and no CEL. Won't know for sure till I really drive it tomorrow..

Exelent!!!!!!

So Autozone will be.

Anyway I was thinking that maybe (for the short ram) Fit Freakers could check rams for the new civic or rsx cause the engine layout is pretty much the same. I think is a starting point.

I Know anything about anything, so please don't come and start a lesson on phisic dynamics and the newton's theory on why my statement is wrong...PLEASE. Is just a thaught (bad english, sorry)

Hey guys,,

After installing this intake, I felt alot more punch at start. But it's still lacking the power going 60+mph. The car seems to not want to pull anymore after that. What fun is that if you're Auto-X Racing???

Anyway, I noticed my gas mileage going down. I filled up the car and now the needle is at 1/4 of a tank. My odometer shows 140+miles. So that figures to be around 20+mpg. LOL!! I knew my gas mileage would go down if I put a intake in it. I'm always on the pedal so I can listen to the sweet sound of the engine. Maybe when I put a muffler on it, it'll help me with my gas mileage problem.

-Tomi
