Does the provided stock based map for the GD3 Fit already get rid of the rev hang? I am 100% stock at the moment and just interested in flashing something that will eliminate the rev hang for now..

I never noticed the rev hang over the last eight years. Then again, I didn't notice it on my 2012 Civic even though there have been tons of people complaining about it.


Edit: my bad. I forgot to mention that the Fit and Civic are both FlashPro'd.

 

It's extremely noticeable to me after driving my '13 BMW 6 speed around .. RPMs shouldn't just float there between gears!

Oh well i'm going to go flash my car with the stock map and hope for the best.

Edit: Honda loves rev hang.. My previous '13 Civic Si, '11 Civic Si both had it as bad as the Fit.

 

Flashed stock based map.. Not sure I notice a difference. maybe a slight bit? Anybody know how to check the map to see if the injectors are tuned for no rev hang?

 

Are you tuning the Fit yourself with FP?

 

I don't plan on a full tune myself.. I just wanted to flash a stock map that eliminates rev hang but the stock one provided didn't seem to do anything in regard to rev hang.
