Purchased these so I would have something to mount kayak mounts to. The installation was simple - remove the plastic plugs from the existing rails, place the crossbars in place, inserted screws and tightened. The front crossbar even had labels to identify it as the front piece. Installation was completed in minutes, and have the Honda quality that is expected. The screws are nicely machined, the crossbars even had nice thick rubber gaskets to keep water out of the joint where they mount to the rails. After mounting, there is some slight wind noise around 35 mph, none noticeable above that (a low volume on the radio masks any wind noise). And they look great on my 2012 CRV!
