yakima feet
yeah but the Q clip looks like if sits flush to the metal on yours mine doesnt
Are you sure your measurements between feet on the bar is correct. Locating them closer or farther apart will affect the angle of the clip, any clip. The picture looks pretty close to my set up. Also make sure the bar spacing measurements are correct. The angle of the roof line changes, and also will affect clip angle or height from door edge. If you take your rack off and on like I do,and to get the rack back on exactly the same place every time, take a piece of electrial tape as long as the clip, and place in the inner door edge once the rack is placed exactly . Line up the tape with the clip edge and clamp. I haven't changed any adjustments to bars or tension adjustments since I mounted the rack last year when I bought the car. The tension is snug, but not over tight to dent the roof, secure, doesn't work loose or need readjusted. I have thousands of miles hauling 2, 15' canoes without issues.

No pics, but mine looks very similar to the GE pic posted. One thought, as mentioned, check the spacing between the two towers on the bar. The measurements for the rear bar for the GE Fit included in the Q-clip package were incorrect. I orignially installed it using the spacing indicated in the Q-clip package and the clips would not sit flush. I checked Yakima's website and noticed that the distance between the two towers on the rear was different (closer together). When I changed the spacing the clips fit flush as they were meant to.
