yakima roof rack whispbar placement
I just installed the yakima whispbar roof rack. Went fairly well after reading the directions. The first time I drove I heard a little rattle on drivers side but that resolved. The second time once I hit 65 mpg I heard the howl coming from the passenger side.
Just wondering if anyone has had these issues and how did they resolve them.
Wondering if it is a placement issue. Does anyone have measurements on how far forward say from the back edge of the drivers door the front bar should be. And how far between front and back bar? And how far back the back bar should be, say from the front edge of the back door?
Thanks!

I just installed an Inno rack. In the package it came with measuring instructions As to where the bars should be placed. I'm surprised a more expensive version (yours didn't).
Going from memory I think the front bar is about 6" away from the back of the front door.
Also I had very loud road noise coming from my bars at 40 mph + and a loss of 4-5mpg.
I bought the fairing and it eliminated the noise completely and boosted my loss of mpg to only 2-3.
