Does this underbody look normal? Base MT
I just got the Base model MT last week, and recently noticed how the underbody appears so visibly unfinished. It's easily noticeable.
It's all painted the same body color, but the underbody stuff is very rough and has globs of some softer material hanging down off of it.
Honda doesn't show this visible condition on their website photos of Base model.
Is this normal on other Base models?

That's one of the first things I changed on my Fit. I used a cardboard and sprayed that part with black undercoat. Also the rear tow hook. Can't even notice it now. You could use that rocker gaurd plastic spray also.

my underbody looks weird...
I can't post pics right now but the underbody of my 2007 Fit DX (AT) looks weird to me. Is there supposed to be this big circular thing hanging down near the back bumper? Not the exhaust pipe thing, I know what that is... lol. I'm a 24-yr old female and this is my first car... I know nothing about cars in general, so please forgive me! My mom owns a 2005 Civic and her underbody looks more flat and clear while mines looks like there's so much stuff hanging down. Does this sound normal? If someone has any underbody pics, please post! For some reason, I cannot view the pics that the original poster put up; it stays they were removed. Thanks in advance for your help!
