Sport trim on the rear bumper cover - how is it attached?
I mentioned this in my other thread, but I haven't had a response yet and figured a new thread might get more views.
I recently had my rear bumper replaced thanks to me backing into a car in a parking lot. The new bumper looks great, but I've noticed that the sport trim that attaches to it isn't as flush as it was on the original bumper. My mom owns a Fit so I was able to do a side-by-side comparison.
My question is this - how is the trim piece attached to the back bumper? I could always take my car back by the body shop and ask them to try and fix it but I'd really rather do it myself. Is there a way to "tighten" the trim piece so it's more flush?
