My wife and I have owned her 2007 NBP Fit Sport for going on 4 years now, and absolutely love it. She doesn't want me to modify it like i do all my other toys, but I may convince her otherwise. The main reason I joined is b/c my wife's Fit was hit in a hit and run last week. It was hit on the driver side rear bumper cover. Didn't do any under body damage, or break the lights, but most of the mounting tabs on the bumper are broken, and there is a large gash in the plastic. The bumper can be repaired, but it would be more then just replacing it. I can do the work, but I am trying to find a painted bumper cover so I don't have to spend $200-$300 just on paint. Anyone know where I can get a black rear bumper?

 

Welcome, The only way to find a painted rear bumper is a 2nd hand bumper. bumpers don't come painted from the factory unfortunately.

 

Perhaps that's a good angle to work the honey I found a type s rear bumper which could snowball into a full jdm conversion. Also lighter rims equals better mpgs as long as your swinging aim for the fences! Online recyclers would probably have a painted used one from a front end accident id start there. Good luck
