New to the group; just got an 08 FitSport (vivid blue) which I LOVE. Of course, with my luck, discovered a two inch hole in my rear bumper last weekend; must have been rear-ended while parked. Anyway, has anyone here had to replace a rear bumper cover? How much did your auto body people charge?

I got rear ended on the weekend - $500 just to re paint the bumper!

 

mine was about 500 including new oem bumper........

 

mine was cracked on the side by a V-dub and it cost about 200 to fix and refinish that spot..replacing idk..

 

all you guys who had your bumpers painted, how is the color
match? I'm afraid to repaint my bumper for that reason.

 

mine came out perfect i mean why shouldn't it unless your cars color is starting to fade away or the shop you take it is dumb enough to mix up the paint colors

 

Paint matches perfectly - any major shop should be able to get the paint code from honda (from your VIN) and blend it in.

I can't tell that it has been painted..
