Honda Fit Sidemarker Template

Since I can remember, there has always been a huge demand not only on my part, but on numerous others for a template on the placement of the EDM/JDM Honda Sidemarkers. Well.... I just finish making this template for the sidemarker placement thanks to STTICH as I stole one of his photographs lol, and a BIG thanks to Evert aka Jazz styler for taking the time to take the measurements for us.

Also just to once more clarify, there are two different variations of the Honda Sidemarkers depending on country. The lower end models like the 1.3A and 1.5A in Japan came with the Clear Sidemarkers, where as some models in Europe came with the Amber Sidemarkers.

Once I can track down some dimensions for the actual sidemarker hole, I will make up a template for it as well.

And another BIG thanks to Evert aka Jazz styler for also informing me that the sidemarkers are to be installed in this fashion.

NOTE: Please note that Photobucket is being temperamental this evening, and you should see an image that was "borrowed" from ICB Motorsport with TWO directional arrows on it, and not just one.

Thanks to Matt at ICB Motorsport, I was able to find out tonight that the EDM/JDM Honda Sidemarkers for the Honda Fit (GD3) are actually the exact same ones found on the JDM Honda Integra (DC5).

I then took and remade a Sidemarker Template I had found on ClubRSX.com to better match the previous templates I made. But of course with anything you find on the internet, you should use this template at your own discretion. With that said, using a piece of cardboard, cut it out before even remotely attempting to do this on your own personal vehicle to make certain of the fitment of the sidemarkers.

I'm still putting forward the motion that this thread should be stickied. This is good information, and in 6 months when n00bs are too lazy to search for it, they can just see it at the top of the page.
