i kinda like the usdm front end better. i has more feel to it i think.
our cars are already small, why make it shorter?
pros, you can get any of those bodykits out there. because all of them are fitted to the jdm fits.

well for one the car was designed with it in mind, so (atleast to me) it looks as if it belongs on it. I also think its a little more tight and clean, not so loose or hanging out as much as the USDM ones...IMH(of most H)O.
And like what was said before^^^ there would indeed be more support for stuff, but geez its not cheap thats for sure. And I dont like that you have to substitute a smaller structural add on component. I am not worried about the safety aspect that 1" more metal would provide but the insurance hazzard (because I have bad luck with life in general and dont want to get screwed by some buisness a$$wipe)
There are plenty of subcompacts that are smaller than the fit...so...idunno... I am a gigantic mini cooper fan (thats a funny sentance huh?) ...well more of the classic variety anyway, so I still feel that too many cars and vehicles are needlessly chunky and a waste. Not the Fit thought....but hey... it could shave a bit off ya know... its a small oinker

pros:
-looks way better
-once you done a jdm front end conversion, you have so many body kits to choose from
-its JDM
cons:
-it costs more to put it on then buying the parts
-smaller rebar in the front, so most likely front end collision = total loss
-icbc can still screw you over even if its not your fault that you caused the accident because the rebars don't really do shit in the rear since your lights in the rear will be destroyed even before reaching the rear bar
but i did it anyways.

So in order to do the full conversion you need the front bumper, the lights, and the fenders right? Say i wanted the mugen kit, can i just install the lights and the fenders and put the mugen bumper?

You need a few more parts than that, but yes, you can just get any bodykit that has a full bumper replacement.
