VTEC DIRECT - UK Honda Specialists

GD Jazz Fit @ Honda Tuning Heaven - VTEC Direct Ltd! -

This is the source!
They have a variety of nice bodykits for the Jazz.

I'd assume judging from the price, that they are genuine.

They even have the Ings one!

Thought I'd share anyway. If anyone orders anything from them or knows where I can obtain an Ing's kit cheaper, do let me know

If you're after the ings kit there's a guy on ebay in the US who had one for sale, his stores at eBay UK Shop - JDM Specialties: ITR, JDM, CTR. Not sure how much it would be to ship over here but its worth a try!!

They Rip you off ... at an extreme level though.
£1200 [equiv. of $2000 USD] for a carbon bonnet?

The hood that you're talking about the J's Racing CFRP vented hood actually sells for about $1650 straight from J's Racing Japan before any shipping costs.

Hi all,

I am the "sales guy" and director of VTEC Direct.

Google alerts picked up on this thread so I thought I would join this forum and "defend" our prices..

- All Honda car clubs receive 5% off our prices (I will add Fitfreaks.net to the list) - Discount code to use is "669101" BTW. You can use this at the checkout.

- All our prices include UK duty and VAT - prices you see on US ebay, J's Racing Japan site etc are not including shipping to the UK, UK duty and UK VAT. How much do you think it costs to ship a bonnet from Osaka to the UK!????

-Our Spoon prices INC VAT and the SSEL site prices are exclusive of VAT. Spoon products are currently on offer at the moment at 8% off.

Many thanks

P.S - Lovely looking site.

most stuff on that site is reasonably priced, but the spoon cf hood they are selling is near 1200 usd. i got one for 850 brand new at my doorstep. that is the only thing i found on that site to be ridiculously expensive, but every other price is pretty fair.

Hi,

There are hundreds of other "tuning sites" that do not even support the Fit/Jazz but we felt there was a market for this car and decided to spend many hours finding/sourcing parts for it.

We provide parts primarily for the European market with hundreds of happy customers with cars such as the NSX, S2000 and DC5.. the costs of running a business in the UK are extremely high and just collecting a shipment (medium size 20box/500kg) from the airport costs over 150USD in fuel alone!

On top of that the prices we charge are UK VAT inclusive (17.5%) so once you knock that off for export the prices drop considerably!

Our business model is based on pure volume (hence 6000 parts being listed) - we do not ship anything by sea and make customers wait 3 months for parts. We are Honda enthusiasts first and foremost with passion for all things Honda. Not just Type R.

I would like to stick around on here and offer some the European customers the normal Spoon/J's parts and offer the US guys some of the more rarer JDM parts if that is their cup of tea..

Watching this thread with great interest

Sounds like a nice bit of kit you've got there, i've got some catching up to do

It'd be great if you could give me some pointers about where to get some stuff, i know there aren't many places in the UK which stock parts for the Jazz but it'd be cool if i could find somewhere

Anyways, thanks in advance
