I was wondering what is the best way to black out the taillights??? i have an ssm base model and i painted the headlights now i got black rims and double limo all the way around and my windshield has a mild tint all the way down. the only thing that needs to be black are the tails. if any one knew the best way... RIGHT WAY... money not an issue that would be great help.

 

I did mine with vht spray tint. Just 3 coats on the outside of them then 2 coats of clear. No prep work besides a good cleaning and rub down with alcohol.




I wouldn't go that dark on a ssm tho. I would do only 1 coat of vht and clear maybe.

 

hey do you have a picture of your blackedout tails with the lights on at night? And with the brake on? Just wanna know if it lights up enough to not scare me into thinking people behind me don't see me..
