Pinstripe or no pinstripe- advice needed!

The dealer was going to throw in a pinstripe for free with my 09 blackberry pearl sport. It's a black/ silver stripe and has the H honda emblem. Should I get it? I can't decide if I like the way it looks... Initially I didn't like it but the dealer said it makes it look "sportier." Any thoughts??

pretty much everyone on here will say don't get it, and a lot of the people that did have one ended up taking it off

the pinstripe isn't really sportier, it just seems kind of dated like a 90s thing

It will peel off and then it just looks tacky so I would say no to the dealership for that freebie but maybe see if they would trade you for a cargo tray or car mats instead! You never know until you ask

yeah i second what cat said, maybe wheel locks... those are a popular thing for dealers to give out... look at the other comparable accessories and see what they say

check them out and ask!

I'm still rocking mine because everyone else likes it and I'm pretty indifferent to it.

Misfit83- do you have any pictures of your fit that you could post? It looks like you have the same color as me.

Pinstripe

Hey, thanks for posting your picture. The stripe actually looks fine. I was worried - I'm getting a Fit next week and the dealer told me the stripe is on it and I didn't know what it looked like. My Civic came with a stripe too.

Seems like I'm the only one whose pinstripe looks like this (and this is my car, too, by the way):

My opinion would be no - they seem to always eventually peel and depending on how long it lasts, the paint that is under the stripe will have faded less than the rest of the car.
That and I personally just don't like how they look.

whats good? what ain't? whats cool? whats not?

eff everyone else bro, if you like something do what you like to your ride FTW!!!

afterall most everyone just justify's having or not having this or that mod according to what they have done. ask some that have pinstripes and I'm sure you will find those that love them. be yourself just make sure you make the most INFORMED decisions you can.

like some may think my yellow walmart ball with the goggles and helmet that I reamed out and crammed atop my antenna is stupid, lol but i love it .... so ..... ya feelin' me dog? lol
