Rear Bumper question

Hey

I got my 07 Fit Sport used (with only 12,000 miles). The previous owner was rear ended, not bad, but still I can't figure out what they did about it. It's not a new bumper because I still see the defect. Eventually, I want a new bumper. I guess I just go to the local Honda dealer and have them order a rear bumper and put it on??? Anyway, does anyone have any idea what this will run, plus service?

The prior fix is not too bad, but I see. My husband said it is barely noticeable, but I see it and that's what matters, right!

i think mine's a little over $200, i was rear ended a month ago, and i decided i want a brand new bumper instead of fixing it since the car's almost brand new, i paid $650 for the OEM bumper, painted and installed at a dealership

Bumper = 04715-SLN-A80ZZ = $234.54
Labor = $85 an hour x1.5 hours
And paint all depends.
so i'd say around $650 like vile10.

Thanks for the numbers. I thought around 1200, but I like around 650 better, of course.

Now, I can not get this done anytime soon, but if I had it done, say, in a couple of years, would I still be able to get the bumper for my year 07?

I think honda parts are produced at least 15 years after the car is out of production.

Excellent! Although it won't be that long before I replace the bumper.

350$ for a paint job is well priced...

so that's a good price there. I installed/removed the parts myself, so I had it easy on the labor portion.

I would like to be able to do that! However, I don't think I could. You should see some of my DIY projects.
