All the Jazzes sold in Australia come without any side moldings. If you want to see how it would look check out the Australian Honda Jazz site or any of the very many online Australian reviews of the Jazz over the years (since 2002). www.honda.com.au/jazz

The Jazz and Fit sold in Singapore also do not have the side mouldings. With it the Jazz/Fit does not look that aerodynamic.

The goop left by the tape would be similar to the goop you have left over when removing badges / stickers.

If you use fishing line and a hairdryer (hot air gun if your a blokey bloke that won't admit to using your gf/wifes hairdryer) you can work the adhesive off pretty well. Heat causes it to be less sticky.

The panel shops use either diluted paint thinner (make sure to test on a unseen part of the car 1st) or a special remover which feels oily called de-solve-it which can be purchased from auto shops.

You'll need to polish and wax the area afterwards regardless of the method employed.

2 words to consider before you do this....DOOR DING!!!!!

I don't know about the Phillipines, but here in the U.S. we have a lot of inconsiderate wankers that will throw open their doors in a parking lot without any concern for your car parked next to theirs.

I think the smooth look is great....just be careful where you park!!!!!

myx is doing exactly this. there are about 7 holes total. you have to epoxy to cover the holes and hammer it in when it hardens so its not higher than the rest. putty and sand till flat perfect. u have to putty and sand several times.

go to body shop and have it done if ur inexperience.

Where else do the FIT/Jazz come standard with door mouldings, aside from the Philippines?
