finally sparco has a harness bar for the fit. a shop called speedware out in redmond, wa does work for sparco, building harness bars and seat backets and aslo there the main shippers for sparco and recaro seats in the northwest.. i let them use my car to mock up two harness bars. one for me and one for sparco.. they both got shipped out to powder coating. currently i dont have pictures. but i will in the next couple days. next friday im letting them use my car again for them to design seat backets too.. ill post update and pictures when i head back up to speedware.

It looks like they used the seat belt bolts to attach it up top and at the bottom it uses the outer bolt on the front seats. Yes u will lose the seatbelt height adjustment but u won't be using them anyways cuz u have a harness bar. =]

yeah but the top ones are covered. id like to know how you get those off cause i was going to use my friends harness bar to test it out but couldnt get the plastic covers off the top and for the bottom, you would need to drill a hole for the bolt or remove the plastic

just got back the harness bar from powder coating but they forgot to send back the upper hoop bracket so i couldnt install it. but here are some photos.

photo of the welds and eye bolts that it uses

straight on view of the harness bar

the speedware logo.. but of course when it gets released by sparco .. it will have the sparco logo.

when i get the upper brackets i will take more pics of it install in my car and ill also let you know when sparco will release the bar or if any information on it. so far all i know speedware wants photos to send to sparco of the bar installed in my car.

so what exactly does this do besides let rear passengers grab onto during tight cornering maneuvers?

its a harness bar. used with harness's the proper way instead of just bolting it into the back seat. i guess it would also add some support on the B pillar . It would not alloy anyone to sit in the backseat because it would be way to dangerous

Prevents your spine from compressing if using harnesses.
