Depending on what car you have it might not Fit/FIT. GD/GE's have different holders. This thread was for the GD owners. The only coin holders that fit for the GE's were the ones Squawking7500 used to sell from Thailand.

Here's mine:

That was before I got the JDM center console (same as linked in the thread above)... since then I don't use them that much. I might just keep one, and uninstall the other to put a switch for some lighting in that location.
Haven't posted up pics of the console, but its the same as in the thread.

I own a GD3 Fit. 2007. So I'm thinking about popping it in as it appears made for the '07. So i guess they are worth it in a way. I generally keep change in that bottom thing under the mirror controls. But having another thing for change would be awesome.

^^^

Since you got a GD you're in luck... it's a relatively inexpensive item, but the shipping from Thailand doubled the price for us GE owners.

I ordered my JDM coin holder from a site. I just googled it and ordered one. It was 6.49 + shipping was like 12 total. Now I can use my 3500 yen for something.

Yeah I've seen them go for like 3.50 and then total to get it shipped to Canada is $15 for everything. I do not complain over this. The mod list just keeps getting bigger and bigger for me.

Even if you don't keep any money in it it looks better than having a blank cover there that makes it appear like something is missing.

I did always question what was suppose to go there. Is that the legit thing that was suppose to go there?

I would guess so.

I have a Base, so I'm missing alot of stuff that the sport has. So any covers I can remove and replace with something worth while, is win win.

Depending on the market and options, the three openings can have switches for the vehicle stability control, headlight adjusters, and ambient lighting.

Can anyone suggest the easiest way to remove the GD1/3 coin holder? I have to fit a rear fog switch in it's place and don't want to carve up the dash trying to remove it.
