HOW TO: install mugen grille on GE8?!

well, I have a mugen grille (lookalike) going to put in on my GE8, however, it seems i need to take off the whole front bumper in order to replace the grille, any one knows how to do it?! or shall i let someone in mod shop do it?!

I don't know about the ge8 but with the gd3 there are 4 tabs on the top of the bumper which I can see in your pic. Then I believe there are four on the bottom and I think a screw or bolt in each front wheel well then you have to pop it off.

if you happen to have or get a hold of any DIY pictures in removing front bumper and installing the grille please post it. i have the same model GE! and i'll install a J's Grill and Upgrade Horn. TIA pls pls...

hey i managed to replace the front grille myself, and I actually follow a manuel of replacing fog lamp on GE8 (involve the steps of removing the front bumper), i will post the doco later as im in office atm...

very nice mod! totally "mugenized" the car!
i'll be waiting for the bumper intructions,
keep the mods up! really looks good man! nice and clean!

thanks mate, but i already read this one in college hills honda, im just scared i will damage some tabs or something, but if you said this is how you removed, then i trust you mate! your the man!

you will be alright jtest, this doco is published by HONDA...you gotta trust them, However you also need lots of guts, its not easy, that pdf should give you enough information to go, just read carefully and do it very very carefully, when I finished replacing the grille i talked to myself, "oh mann, that was tough, i will never ever remove it again..." so...good luck
