I picked-up a used 2018 Fit Sport this weekend to be my commute vehicle and for when my other car is setup for track duty. I have parts on order to add satellite radio, for mounting phone to dash, floor mats... and I'm sure I'll have a few more items before too long. I've been really impressed with the mods others have been doing, and greatly appreciate the walkthroughs.

Parts arrived for the satellite radio upgrade... will crack into things on Sunday. I've been looking at several very impressive build threads... getting lots of great ideas!

I have a question about finding a good source for constant 12V power (and a chassis ground) near to the radio. I started a thread to document my install process and ask questions... but I cant see it now (maybe needs moderator approval since I'm new?)

 

At your fuse box, there should be one of the spots that is always hot - I believe for mine it was the "Fog" fuse. You could use a tap-a-fuse to get power from that location.

 

The post detailing my Sirius XM install is updated with some information and photos. I'm looking forward to my drive to work tomorrow and not having to switch stations three times each way due to the poor reception.
