New from Providence, RI
New to the forum, and a little over 2 years with a 2007 Fit Sport 5-speed. Car has 252k- clutch, 1 axle shaft, and ac compressor were only major repairs. Car is ratty by now (delivery business), but insanely reliable.
Thinking ahead, are any of the newer Fits more relaxed (lower rpm) on the highway? Is the extra hp with the 2nd gen noticeable?
Might also look at Civics and Accords, but do they hold up as well?
Previous car was a B5 Passat with Audi 2.8 30v, polar opposite. Horribly unreliable,, but great performer.

Welcome to the forum!1
Yes the newer gen's are better in the MPG department and have a lower RPM on the highway. I have read you can feel the difference with the extra HP which is always nice.
Can't go wrong with a Civic or Accord either but hard to beat a good hatchback (new civic hatch is great).
