Replacing water pump 2009 Honda Fit Sport
Replacing water pump 2009 Honda Fit Sport
Hi People- Looking at home repair of water pump replacement on my daughter's aged 2009 Honda Fit Sport-- found Haynes video instructions online and doesn't seem too complicated for a home mechanic- but having anxiety on removing the WP bolts without breaking on a vehicle of this age--
Shop wants $500 for change pump and belt--parts don't seem that expensive-- I've done a fair amount of work on older vehicles...
Car spent most of its life in the Boston area-- shouldn't be to much salt -induced rust there--Am I crazy thinking I can do this job myself? What if I break a bolt removing old pump? never worked on a transverse motor before but seems straightforward after you remove the pass side wheel--
Any experienced help would be appreciated
Thanks
Tom
