finally posting...

I have been lurking around the forum for maybe a month or so. Looking to buy a FIT sport in the fall, hoping for a lower price due to the 09 in OCT. I want the Vivid Blue MT, no extras. Thinking about rims, intake, and "quiet" exhaust. Maybe some tougher paint as well. Currently in MI, but am planning to move to NorCal after getting the Fit.

I have been on the search for a car for while, was looking at the VW Rabbit, but changed my mind when I discovered the inconsistency of VW's. I was also looking at the Versa and Impreza, but Honda won out due to MPG, Price, and general Honda-ness. My Mom has a 02 CRV MT which I really enjoy driving.

I have poked around two dealerships, and had good experiences. The FIT is really fun to drive, like everyone says. Just trying to save for a large down payment, if I can save any money...

It's a small world, at least on this forum. Turns out Firebat666 goes to the school I just graduated, and he went to high school with one of my classmates. So weird... And when he complains about the school, every word is true.

There is a school in St. Helena that I want to take a class at and my gf wants to a UC, either Berkley or Davis (most likely davis). Looking at apts now on craiglist. I have a buddy in Ronhert Park, which would be an hour drive for me, and I have no idea how long to berkley or davis. I'm looking at a map now and they are both pretty far. Maybe Vallejo, Winters, or Fairfield. The area is so expensive. I'm looking for a 1 or 2 BR for 800. (currently paying 450 for a large 1BR). I'm thinking about living in Ronhert or Santa Rosa while I go to school, and by the time I'm done, residency will be established and move closer to berkley or davis. any tips will be greatly appreciated.
